Privacy Policy
BrightFound SEO (brightfoundseo.com) is an SEO tool review site. This page explains what information is collected when you visit, why, and what choices you have. Short version: there are no accounts or sign-ups, I don't sell your information, and I use Google Analytics to see which pages and tool links are useful.

What I collect
Analytics (Google Analytics 4). I use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site: pages viewed, roughly where visitors are (city or region level), device and browser type, how you got here, and which tool links are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. According to Google, Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses; it uses them only to work out a general location. I use this information only to improve the site, not for advertising.
Tool link clicks. When you click a link to a tool, I record which tool and which spot on the page (for example, a button on a tool card). This tells me which picks are helpful. It isn't tied to your name or any personal account.
Your light/dark mode choice. If you use the light/dark mode button, your choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device.
Hosting. The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes basic request information (like your IP address and browser) to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
What I don't collect. No sign-ups, no accounts, no comments, no forms and no payment information.
Affiliate links
Some links to tools are affiliate links. They pass through a short link on this site (for example, /go/semrush/) and then take you to the tool's own website, where that company's privacy policy applies. The company may set its own cookie so it can credit the referral if you sign up. Signing up happens on their site, never on this one.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Opt out of Google Analytics on all sites with Google's opt-out browser add-on (opens in a new tab).
- Clear your light/dark choice by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Children
BrightFound SEO is meant for adults and isn't directed at children under 13. I don't knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, I'll update it here and change the "Last updated" date at the top.
